  GHA Making an impact in Haiti
Darbonne, Haiti
 


Madame Solange, a Haitian woman living in the Darbonne region, first showed her leadership potential when her community selected her for training to become a Community Health Worker. She was trained in Haiti by Haitian staff members for eight weeks in basic health and community development, health teaching skills and problem solving skills.

Later, she became a participant in the Haitian Goat Project, and because of her leadership skills, the other farmers chose her to be a Lead Farmer. (Read More)
